Bank, is addressed to students, teachers, and all those
interested in exploring issues of global development. It
encourages learners to seek their own solutions to
development challenges by exploring and discussing a broad
range of critical development issues.

book is designed to be adapted by individual countries to
reflect their specific development issues and to meet
their own curriculum needs. There is Russian
adaptation "The World and Russia" available. Latvian
adaptation "The World and Latvia" is in
