Subject: trial baloon

1. freedom
what is it that Bush and Co keeps talking about defending well, its what the 100 Nobles critiqued the american way of life every day i see ads on tv that say if you wanna fight terrorism dont let it change but keep on living your American way of life
translated into plain english the privilege of
- consuming up the earth resources at cost of others - polluting the earth at cost of others -disipating own entropy to the rest of the world at cost of others -ironically also of fighting/opressing others in the name of this same freedom to do as we please
-including ever more uni-lateralism kyoto, icc, abm, war on terrorism, .....

2. violence on TV and video games/ movies [literally not to mention the whole american ''culture of violence'' - professional wrestling, roller derby, paint ball shoots, but also all the high power ATV, super truck racing and crashing and on and on, that nobody seems to mention and now the SUVs] but reigning in tv violence because it is role model for high school kids to go shooting up the school a la Columbine h seems to me an unfounded inference and even if correct its very small potatoes compared to:
the REAL role model consequence of all this US culture of violence is the popular initiation of /rallying to/ support for US Military violence around the world -- after sept 11 'DO something, go bomb anything anywhere it does not matter what NOW.

in plain english use # 2 for # 1 - defending freedom to do # 1.
